Procedure and installation

Latest version of Adobe Reader

It is strongly recommended to install the latest version of Adobe Reader if you want to visualize and print your health report or other documents available on the portal. To download the latest version, you can follow this procedure:

  • Navigate to the following link:
    http://get.adobe.com/reader/.
  • Click on the "Download" button.
  • A download window will appear. Save the file under your "My documents" folder.
  • Close all Windows programs, including your Internet browser.
  • Navigate to your "My documents" folder, and run the downloaded file by double-clicking on it (It is possible that you will only see the file name without the ".exe" extension).
  • It is also possible that Windows will require a confirmation in order to run the program. If this is the case, please approve it.
  • Follow the instructions until the end of the installation.

Procedures to activate JavaScripts

JavaScript is a script language used to build interactive web pages.

Complete the following instructions to activate and enable JavaScript in Internet Explorer:

  • In the "Tools" drop-down menu, select "Internet Options".
  • Next, select the "Security" tab.
  • Select the "Internet" zone (earth icon).
  • Click the "Custom level" button.
  • Scroll down through to the "Scripting" section and select the "Enable" radio button from the "Active Scripting" heading.
  • Then click the "Ok" button to apply the setting.
  • Answer "Yes" to the following confirmation box.
  • Hit "OK" to close the "Internet Options" window.
  • Restart your browser.

Complete the following instructions to activate and enable JavaScript in Firefox:

  • In the "Tools" drop-down menu, select "Options".
  • Select the "Content" tab.
  • Check the "Enable JavaScript" checkbox.
  • Click "OK" to close the "Options" window and save your changes.
  • Restart your browser.

Enable cookies in Internet Explorer

  • In the "Tools" drop-down menu, select "Internet Options".
  • Select the "Privacy" tab.
  • Move the slider to "Medium High", "Medium", "Low" or "Accept all cookies".
  • Click "OK" to close the "Internet Options" window and save your changes.

Enable cookies in Firefox

  • In the "Tools" drop-down menu, select "Options".
  • Click the "Privacy" tab.
  • Set "Firefox will:" to "Use custom settings for history".
  • Check "Accept cookies from sites" to enable cookies.
  • Click "OK" to close the "Options" window and save your changes.

Procedure to enable "pop-ups"

Enable pop-ups in Internet Explorer

  • In the "Tools" drop-down menu, select "Internet Options".
  • Select the "Privacy" tab.
  • Check "Turn on Pop-up Blocker" checkbox from the "Pop-up Blocker" section.
  • Click the "Settings" button.
  • Type http://connexion.medisys.ca in the box "Address of website to allow" and click "Add".
  • Set the "Blocking level" to "Medium: Block most automatic pop-ups".
  • Click "Close" to exit the "Internet Options" window.

Enable pop-ups in Firefox

  • In the "Tools" drop-down menu, select "Options".
  • Click the "Content" tab.
  • Check the "Block pop-up windows" checkbox.
  • Click "OK" to close the "Options" window and save your changes.

Access to the health portal

Browsing the health portal

  • To access the health portal go to http://connexion.medisys.ca
  • You might encounter a security alert asking to verify the security certificate. Please click "Yes" to continue.
  • It is also possible that your browser will block temporarily specific site content and will display a warning. If this happens, please authorize the site content to be displayed on your screen.

Note on your account security

Our portal has been developed with the highest standards in mind. We have security levels similar to the banking industry. We guaranty that your data will remain confidential and that our portal is secure even when you access remotely. To maximize the security level, please ensure that you never share your password or security image.

Protecting your personal information

Your personal information is strictly confidential. We invite you to read our Privacy Policy available on the health portal.

Access to the health portal

Signing up to the health portal

You must sign-up before accessing to the health portal. Please follow these steps to do so:

  • On the main page of the portal, click on "Sign up Now".

  • Fill in the registration form. All fields marked with (*) are mandatory. The access code was provided by your employer. If you don’t have your access code, you can ask your manager or contact us at onsiteservices@medisys.ca.

    Note : "email" field is not mandatory. If you don’t have access to an email account, we will assist you over the phone.

  • Once your form is completed and you have read our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, please click on "I accept" to continue. Terms and conditions and Privacy Policy are available on the portal.
  • Select three security questions and provide response to each. Then select a security image. Keep this information at all time. It will be required every time you want to access the portal.
  • Click on «submit» to finalize your registration
  • We will send a confirmation email to the address you provided. You must click on the confirmation link within that email to complete your registration. It is important to provide a valid email address and to verify that the message is not in you anti-spam folder.
  • Once your registration is completed, you can access your health portal!
  • If you have any problems registering to the health portal, do not hesitate to contact us at onsiteservices@medisys.ca.

Portal Login

Are you already a user of the health portal?

As a user, you can connect to the Phealth portal as often as you would like to view your medical reports online.

  • To access the portal, go to our site at http://connexion.medisys.ca, in the section "I already have an account" and sign-in using the information that you chose previously.
  • If the image is incorrect, please click on the field "No, this is not my security image" and follow instructions.
  • Click on "Submit" to proceed with the connection.
  • In order to confirm your identity, you must confirm that the security image that appears on the screen is indeed the one you chose when you registered. If this image is correct, please click on the field "Yes, this is my security image".

Access to the health portal

Login Authentication Setting

You can change your login authentication setting at any time. Click on "My Record", select the field to be modified and follow the instructions. Every time you make a change, you will see a confirmation message with the details of the changes you have made.

Please make sure that you keep your new login informations. They will be required each time you want to access the portal.

Language

You can select your preferred language by clicking on "English" or "Français" at the top right of each page.

Actions to take

Throughout the Fresh Start program, your portal will identify the next actions for you to take, to go to the next step of your health assessment program.

According to your profile, you may be asked to complete several questionnaires or to make appointments. When you have actions to take, they will appear to the right of your screen.

Making appointments

Depending on your Fresh Start program, you may have to make appointments. Your portal allows you to book your appointments online, according to your agenda and availabilities at your workplace.

The number of appointments will vary depending on your program. Your portal will identify the number of appointments you have to book.

Accessing the appointment planner

There are three ways that you can make appointments:

  • By clicking directly on the "My Agenda" icon.
  • By clicking on the "My action" icon.
  • By using the navigational assistant and clicking on "Appointments".

Step 1: On the first page of the "Appointments" section you will find a description of the appointments that can be made according to your Fresh Start program. This text contains important information that will guide you in choosing your appointments. To proceed with booking an appointment, click on "Next". If you would like to proceed with this step later, click on "I will book my appointments later".

Step 2: On the main appointments page, we provide you with the place, dates and times available for your appointments. You will also find some important information concerning your appointments. Read the text carefully and select your appointment by clicking on the box which corresponds to your preferred time.

Step 3: Click on the time you would like to have your appointment. A summary description of the appointment will appear on the screen. Click on "submit" to confirm your appointment.

Step 4: An email will be sent to you confirming the details for the appointment you have selected.

Note :

  • According to your program, it is possible that you will need to make a second appointment. You can use the same procedure. Each appointment includes specific instructions. Please read the instruction presented for your second appointment carefully.
  • You can view your appointments at any time using the "My Agenda" tab.
  • If you would like to change or cancel an appointment, please contact us, Monday to Friday, between 8 am and 5 pm EST by dialling 514-499-2777 x 3610 or 1-800-499-1394 x 3610.

Completing the health questionnaires

Prior to completing the questionnaires, please make sure you have already booked your appointments. You can refer to the previous section if your appointments have not yet been made. After you have booked your appointments, you will be automatically invited to fill out your questionnaires.

Step 1: Accessing the health questionnaires

  • On the first page of the section "My Questionnaires", you will find useful information to read before completing the questionnaires. After you have read this information, click on the "Next" button to continue.

Step 2: Filling out the health questionnaires

  • After you have clicked on "Next", the first question of the first questionnaire will appear on your screen. An indicator in the top right of the screen indicates your progress within the questionnaire.
  • Each question appears individually and the next question will be presented to you automatically if your answers do not require further information or specification. Please respond as accurately as possible when we ask you to specify a response. This will help our personnel to better evaluate your health status.

  • You can navigate within the questionnaire using the navigation buttons at the bottom right of the page. You can also go to the previous or next questionnaire by selecting the appropriate "Questionnaire" in the drop down menu.
  • Once you have completed a questionnaire, click on the button "Continue" to go to the next questionnaire.

Note :

  • Your answers are automatically saved. You can leave a questionnaire at any time and come back to it, without having to worry about losing the information that you have already entered.
  • You can modify your answers to the questionnaires as many times as you would like up to one week before your follow-up appointment with the nurse. After this date, you can no longer complete or modify your questionnaires. The last version of your questionnaires will be the one used for your health assessment. If you do not have a follow-up appointment, you can access your questionnaires until you "submit" them.
  • You can access your questionnaires by clicking on the "My Questionnaires" tab at any time. The page will appear containing all of the questionnaires to be completed and show the status for each one. This tab also allows you to review your answers by clicking on the "Review my answers" icon.

Exiting from the health portal

Once all of your questionnaires have been completed, you can exit the health portal by clicking on "Log Off" at the top right. At any time, when browsing the portal, you can exit by clicking on "Log Off".

Viewing your results

Below are the steps that are necessary before your results can be published on the health portal:

  • Complete the questionnaires
  • Take measurements
  • Follow-up with the nurse
  • File review by the supervising doctor (this step applies if your company has subscribed to the Fresh Start MD program).

An email will be sent to you when your report is available in your health portal.

  • Connect to the health portal using the procedure mentioned previously.
  • Click on the "My results" tab. Click on the report that you would like to view.

I have forgotten my password

If you forget your password, you can change it by using the procedure available on your portal:

  • On the welcome page of the health portal (http://connexion.medisys.ca), click on the link "I have forgotten my password".
  • You will need to complete all of the fields specified in the following 3 steps. Click on the icon "Next" after each step and click on the "Submit" icon after step 3 in order to validate the information.
  • A message confirming your password change will then appear on the screen.
I have forgotten my username

If you have forgotten your username, please contact customer service, from Monday to Friday, between 8 am and 5 pm EST by dialing 514-499-2777 x 3610 or 1-800-499-1394 x 3610.

Please note that we will ask you several questions to verify your identity.

I can't connect to the site

Here is some trouble-shooting that you can try out:

  • Verify that the browser you are using is supported by the health portal. The browsers that are supported are Explorer 7.0 or higher as well as Firefox 2.0 or higher.
  • Verify that the address in the address bar of your browser is http://connexion.medisys.ca.
  • Verify that your Internet connection is active. Please try to navigate to another Internet site to verify this. If it does not work, please contact your internet service provider.
  • Verify that your system meets all of the requirements (see the first section of this document, entitled "Requirements to access the health portal").
I can’t connect to my account
  • Verify that your username, password, and your security image are the same as the ones that you chose when you registered.
  • Make sure that the "Caps Lock" on your keyboard is not on before entering your password.
What is the security image for?

You will note that in addition to your username and password, a security image is associated with your account. This image is an additional authentication measure which optimizes the security of your account.

This extra measure protects you from fraudulent action by people attempting to obtain personal information to steal your identity.

Each time you connect to the portal you will need to confirm that the security image which appears on screen is the one you chose when you registered.

When will I receive my results?

Between 5 and 10 working days after your follow-up visit with the nurse, Medisys will send you an email to advise you that your report is available in your health portal.

How do you protect my personal information?

Your personal information is strictly confidential. Please read our Privacy Policy which is available on the portal. You can access it using the link on the bottom of most pages of the portal.
